This shot is of a friend of mine skiing a sled of supplies across Basin Pond on the way to the South Basin of Mt. Katahdin, Maine. It was -12ºF and a 10 mph head wind.

This shot is on the final pitch topping out on Baxter Peak (Baxter Sate Park, ME) via Black Gully. It was -20ºF with wind chill. It was the best day out of the five we were there to go above tree line. Nature at its rawest!
