Thanks for your input. Personally when I go out, I don't think to myself "I'm just looking for photographs of interesting buildings today"....I go out and take as many as I can, pp the ones I like and put them up. I've been doing this for such a short time that my approach is, admittedly, scattergun, but in order to find a style or approach that I like, I have to sample as much as I can. I work all week, and have such limited time, it would be an impossible and unsustainable hobby if I restricted myself too readily and too early on in what is obviously (judging by the great stuff I've seen on smugmug et al) a learning curve that is as steep as it is long.
Thanks and regards
Dave
