    All I can offer is - Wow. Just wow.

    To me, that has all the elements of a beautiful shot to be cherished. Soft tones, great facial expression of your son, and the innocence of the kiss to the head.

    Lighting is alright, and the posing is absolutely first rate. You captured both your son and wife at probably the best possible moment.

    That being said, although the compositional elements of the shot are excellent, I think that you have made some processing errors. To my mind, this shot needs a great deal more contrast, and a lot less grain. Although the grain is more a matter of taste than anything, the "flatness" of the image is its most serious weakness. How did you process this? I would definitely pop the blacks and pump up the contrast. Then this would be just about perfect.
