Temp as low as -16 in parts of Yorkshire and snow snow snow, This is the main street to Horsforth where I live, I love bad weather conditions but this was a little extreme :), with my Leica wrapped in cling film I wanted to capture the feeling of a winter storm and it did not disappoint.

As a point of interest the manual focus on the Leica can be set to a hyper focal distance, I had it set from 2 meters to infinity, so no auto focus problems as it was switched OFF

Nice work, Martin. The wispy snow trails are wonderful. Sure am glad I don't have to deal with that much snow or cold, though.

I love this. I used to live in the Pennines, so I can imagine just what that felt like as well as looks like!!!

Are you shooting ~gulp~ digital Leica (or is this a scan)?

That's a beautiful shot. Almost reminds me of "It's a wonderful life" in a couple of the scenes. thumb.gif

The shot makes me immediately thankful to be indoors with the radiator clanking away.

    Awesome winter capture.

I like the shot. Did you consider a minor crop from the lower left maintaining the aspect ratio. The sign with the partial number on the building middle left is a little distracting for me and there's plenty of space at the bottom to not crowd the feeling.

Wow! Great shot...I'm going to have to give this a try during our next storm! (Something to look forward to!)

Awsome shot!! The current mini-challenge is winter scenes - this would make a good entry.

You really have captured the "feeling" of the storm. When viewing, I have a slight physical reaction to the biting cold.

Great shot. Reminds me why I moved to California from the Big Apple. If I want snow, I can drive to it.
