i got ripped for doing this in another forum,but every time i try to resize pics they look very very flat and lack pop-so i attached a direct link to the photos i shot last night-sorry for the inconvienece-heres the link:

    You will get more replies if you include and number the photos in quote. As for resizing the photos and looking flat, I also use smugmug and don't have any issues of resized images looking fat. Are you using a custom size? Smugmug gives you eight copies of various sizes that you can use with a click.

    In general, you're doing a lot of things well. The exposure is generally good, and you have the some elements of a successful sports portrait -- face, action, ball (or puck).

    I suggest that you watch your horizons and work on composition that include more emotion and story of the game.

    Those look good, white balance looks nice. I would try to get some more action shots. I also have the D90 but have not tried ISO 3200. Did you use any noise reduction in PP on those.
