It does rain in Death Valley NP sometimes

I needed a gray card this day, but i think I got the white balance right. (and you can't see it here, but the peaks in the clouds have snow on them)

Looking south a minute or two later



and if you like puzzles, a close up of the rock tracks, figure this out!

C&C always appreciated, white balance was tuff, and yes, the playa does change color depending on what direction you are looking , but I'm sure I'd have done better if I had shot a gray card.

Great catch of the rocks crossing paths. Haven't seen that before. The rain shot is wonderful. Perfectly captured.

You gotta love the rock tracks with the senic bakground. Nice series.

They look great to me. Nice capture on the moving rocks too. Always amazed at how those rocks are different every year. It's gotta be aliens!
