Everytime I try to share a photo on Facebook through SmugMug I get the following error. I've tried on several different occasions and always get the same result.
I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to reach Facebook, as they appear to be having technical difficulties right now. Please try your request again later, or notify support if this continues to happen.

Aaron, be sure you are enabling 3rd party cookies in your browser. Let us know.

Andy I think that was it. I changed my Privacy in IE from Medium to accept all cookies and then it worked. Is there a specific url that I can add to allow cookies just for smugmug? I'm not sure what I'm risking by leaving pricacy set to accept all cookies.

In Firefox you specifically do that, not sure about IE.

I'm having trouble sharing on Facebook again. I recently created a page "Aaron C. Jors Photography" and I can get the photos to post their immediatly but when I try to post them to my personal account the ticker just keeps going and going. It never posts to my page and never gives me an error either.

I'm not sure if this has any effect but if I go to my control panel and click Social Settings(View your Social Accounts) it tells me that I am not logged in. However I am logged in, so I'm not sure why it tells me im not?

Update: I have been able to get the photo to post to my regular Facebook page but there seems to be some problems with Login/Connection with Facebook. At times it tells me that I am not logged in when I am logged into both Facebook and Smugmug.

    +1 on the login cycle
Just echo'ing Aaron's last post...same issue happens to me when I try to share a pic via the FB "Share" button...the SmugMug dialog pops up, I write something, then I get the "uh oh" error message.

There's clearly a default setting between SM and IE that's not behaving correctly.

Using IE9 in both default and compat mode. I have allowed SM perms to post to my wall. Tried adding SM to my trusted zone site list too, didn't work.

I just tried it on my IE9 and was able to post on Facebook with no problems. Then I removed the SmugMug app from Facebook temporarily and went back to posting to Facebook. It asked me to grant SmugMug access again. Upon posting, it brought up the oops error since something was still missing. Then came up another Facebook screen and I granted permission. After that it worked fine again.

If you do have problems, go to the Facebook apps and remove SmugMug there:
    http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications
In addition check the SmugMug control panel > settings tab > social settings section > view social accounts (in the section heading) and remove Facebook from there if it's listed there.

If there's still a problem, you may have to clear your IE cookies in case there's a stuck cookie. Also close and reopen your IE.

Note that I use a custom domain with my SmugMug account.

    problem solved
Just closing the loop on this...turns out I needed a Support hero intervention to reset my FB association with my SmugMug account. Once they nuked that, I was good to go.

So if anyone is among the chosen few where no amount of cache clearing and zapping cookies does the trick, drop a note to the support team.

I'm now able to successfullly share.
