More Album Stuff
After Qarik's thread, I thought that it might be interesting to see what other people do for their albums and where they get their inspiration. I've only made one so far, so I have a lot of learning to do.
My inspiration for this album design came from Sarah Rhoads's work. Here is a link to a fabulous album design. I love how clean and simple it is. I am not sure that I would want to put a logo and page number on each spread, though.
So keeping some of her design ideas in mind while trying to come up with my own style, here are some pages/spreads I came up with:
1.
2.
3.
4 No, this does not have a grey line delineating the seam in the final spread.
I guess what I tried to take away from SR is to not be afraid of the white space and that it's ok to find a way to use it.
So yeah, please show and tell: where do you get your ideas for album design?

I design everything in LumaPix FotoFusion and then I print Pacific Albums from Bay Photo. Quality is great.
