Is it OK to post photos of Photographers?

No. Never photograph a photographer - it's a cardinal rule. There's a reason we position ourselves at the back end of a camera.

But as to the title...This really isn't chimping - which is the photographer using his digital camera the way a chimp would - shoot, peek; shoot, peek; shoot, peek; shoot, peek; etc. etc. This is more an example of clienting - showing the client what you've gotten to determine if you have to keep shooting, or you can move on. ;-)

And i like the image. I am particularly partial to photos of people taking photos.:D

Someone from a local paper was chimping and ref ran into him. Ref was ticked off. Nice shot though.

"The phrase (chimping) is most likely derived from comparison between the sounds and actions some make while reviewing images and those of an excited primate (Oooh! Oooh! Aaah!), or when a photographer is completely absorbed in the act of analyzing, admiring or proudly displaying a shot to others."

Seemed like an appropriate title at the time...
