Both good! But I really like the 1st one. The horizon may be a bit to close to center though.....maybe you could try a version with some of the bottom cropped out above the brighter water reflection and clump of reeds. Beautiful sunset shot.

Nice photos. Lots of pretty rich colors.
I just know that pictures can't begin to convey a scene like that....it must have been amazing in person.

I love the new saying! That's so much better than "the blue hour," which usually just means you're going to freeze your butt off anyway. Glad you had a lovely sunset, and I'm going to keep your advice in mind.

#2 is my favorite there Mike. Love the pull to the left and how the clouds mimic the water plants. Really nice stuff!

I had another photographer quote that to me a few years ago and I try and remember that each time I go and shoot. That evening I almost went home early....glad I stayed!
