Adorable. Maybe one day I'll get to shoot a newborn that's in a good mood. I've shot five over the last few years, and they've all been, well let's just say communicative of their discontent.

I love number 3, 4 and 6!! What are you using the prop the baby up in number 4?? What is the baby laying on in number 3?? Finally I'm curious about #6 what kind of reflective surface do you have her on??
My first attempt, last Tuesday, did not go so well! We got a few good shots, but not she would NOT sleep. The follow-up on Saturday was much more like I had hoped. Also, on tuesday she was very splotchy. I had to do little to no work on her skin the second time around. It's amazing what difference just a few days can make. This is a cousin's baby, so I'll get to play with her more in the near future. She's exactly two weeks old tomorrow morning.
So, in #4 I have her sort of sideways on a Boppy. I rotated the image in post. I used a dark granite kitchen island to get the refelction in #6, which is also the background under the baby in #1. #4 and #5 are natural light coming through the breakfast nook window. The kitchen made a great studio!
