I got out way to late in the day to really get any good pics at all:(. I did not have any of them fly close by either. Here are a couple of shots.

Then I gave up on the Eagles and shot a couple landscapes.

    Ron,
I spotted a couple of eagles yesterday as I drove by Coeur d'Alene lake in the morning. Wish I had had time to stop. Nice shot. What lake was that?

Thanks Colby! This was out by Wolf's Lodge in the Beauty Bay area.

What lens are you using to shoot the eagles? I'm thinking about heading up to Coeur d'Alene lake over christmas to shoot the eagles and I'm thinking my 70-200 is too short. I don't know if I can get by with a tele-converter or if I should look at a longer lens.

I am generally using my Tamron 200-500 lens. It really is a very good lens, but, you do need good light when using it! It is not an extremely fast lens. I took this on last year with this lens.

The landscapes here were taken with the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8.

That's just where I saw the eagles on Sunday morning.
