Question about printing....

Does smug use anything to resize the photo when printing larger sizes, for example, something like Genuine Fractals or even photoshop?

We use proprietary software at the lab, if it's needed. But typically it is not - send over your original full size files with all the pixels and we guarantee amazing prints. 100% Guaranteed, in fact.

I upload the full size jpegs (typically like 8-12 MB). Am I doing it right?

Megabytes are important, but rather not as much as pixels. Upload all the original pixels. Thanks

oh brother. I don't even know what that means. what are original pixels?

anyone? here is my workflow...

shoot RAW. edit in raw, open as NEF in photoshop, save as jpeg. upload jpeg to smug.

am I uploading the "original pixels" ?

It means, don't upsize, and don't resize down. Cropping lightly in LR is fine.
