British War Cemetery in Pakistan

Awais Yaqub

Contains 232 burials from WW2 and WW1 of British nationals, it is located at heart of Rawalpindi surrounded with busy streets. This was my 1st ever visit to this graveyard and 1st ever experience of shooting at cemetery. I found it very interesting, though very simple place but i could have spent whole day trying different compos, some images are still under process.

There was a mosque across the road, and sun was right spot to try Muench Star

Really a well done series. I love image #2, very strong diagonal lines add a lot of energy to this image. The tombstone reflections just add to the depth. I also really like the simple symmetry of image #3.
