I have this set up so I can shoot from my bedroom window. Well...the window is froze shut and I had to keep wiping the condensation off between shots. I'm surprised I was able to get ones this clear.

Great set of shots. I wish I had a bedroom set up but all I would get to shoot would be a brick wall.rolleyes1.gif

Ric, I can't believe you got these shots through a window! I like all of them, with that Jay all puffed up to stay warm--think I like the North Wind shot best. Best, Pam

What is that white stuff? That poor poor bird looks very cold. Nice set Ric. Keep warm and close that freezer door. Enough is enough. I and my birds have been cold long enough for one winter.

    Uhm...
When you are done taking absolutely awesome pictures of bluejays, would you like to come clean my windows? I would like my windows to look like there's nothing between me and the outside world too!

I love the light on this. That and the raised crest in the third shot - windblown? It captures it's aliveness, as though it's going to jump right out of my computer at me!

Good stuff. Quite clear and sharp. Did you use the DO or the zoom?

The jays won't tolerate my presence for even one moment...so I guess this is the only way.

    Thanks, Pam.

I think the freezer has a revolving door!

    Thanks, Mike.:D
