Great looking image. Love the color pallet. This may sound strange but what if you were to crop from the left about 1/4 way to the right almost into a square crop (eliminating all the way past the left most large background rock.) . It just feels when I hold my hand over it that is has a better balance and a sense of a leading line which starts with the foreground rocks. great shot as it though.

How many stops of GND did you use?

I can't recall, but probably 3 or so stops on the GND filter.
