So... how's that 2.8 been working out for your low-light endeavours?
The Tamron 28-75mm? It is a great lens but really didn't work well for what I try to do. (A lot of marching band and indoor concerts.) So now I have a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, it is a marvelous lens and takes great pictures. I needed a wider angle. It works well for my marching band events when I am taking shots in the stands or around the practice field.
But then I have indoor concerts and the 28-75mm was too short. So I recently got a Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L and I have used it once. It is very impressive. I can't wait until my next event (2 weeks away :cry ), a jazz concert.
So I am selling the Tamron 28-75mm (and a couple other of my mistakes), someday.
