I was using my MPE-65 rig whuich goes from 1:1 to 5:1 magnification without additions.
Your Sigma 150 will do 1:1 as is, nearly 2:1 with a full set of kenko type extension tubes. You would be able to get around 4:1 if you reverse a 50mm lens onto the front of the 150 mm.

This looks kind of like what we get around here after a "hoar frost", which I have never photographed in macro. I've only seen one really good example here, to be honest.
