Ally's boudoir shoot....
Ally called me and asked if I did boudoir shoots. I shot her wedding 3 years ago so I said sure I would give it a go.
At her gallery there are some NSFW shots so be aware: http://miker1.smugmug.com/Portraits/Allys-boudoir-portrait-shoot/14963320_agc7T#1117686737_76hzX

I am so jealous. I need to learn how to shot like this.

Yes with Ally it is almost like cheating, she enjoys her time in front of the camera.
Yes these are almost all with window light, there are a few on the bed where a strobe with softbox was used to provide some fill.
Truth be told I have to give Agnieszka (Wedding forum moderator) props. I saw her boudoir work and the light bulb on how to do these shoots came on in my head, she does amazing boudoir work.

So let me get this straight. If you hadn't done her wedding, you wouldn't have done her boudoir shoot? Yeah, right!
Awesome job on these! Very inspiring work. I'm sure she and her hubby were thrilled.
Cheers,

However... in many of these I find the background too distracting or not fitting for the rest of the shot.
