Just joined so please treat me with care. I am not a great photographer but I love doing it.
40 plus years ago I had a run in with a snowmobile and I lost. The doctors said they didn't know what to do and advise me to do nothing and see what happens.
About 10 years ago I started getting tremors through my limbs and then my balance started to go.
The name they have given me for what I now deal with is Ataxia.
I use a Nikon with VR which helps. Most of my photographs are from a hand held situation.
My backyard is the main location for my current photographs.
My Wife drives me around other times as to allow for more location shots.
Cottontail is from my yard.
Talk to you soon

...and a beautiful cottontail it is, too!
Lovely, wintery image. The falling snow is beautiful. Living in Australia, I miss the white stuff. :)

Welcome aboard, David. Great first image post!

I think that's a great hand held shot, and it makes me feel cold just lookkng at it--I love the snow flakes showing up! Thanks for posting! Best, Pam

I'm new as well, and this is my first post - thought I'd browse postings of others before posting my own!

I love the rabbit on it's own, but the detail of the snow in front of it makes this shot! My daughter says that it looks like a snow globe!

    Best,
    Emily

    Hello Emily,
Thanks to you and your Daughter for your nice comments.
Like you I am a newcomer to this sort of fast lane of photography.
I am 77 and I really don't know if mentally I can keep up with it.
I am already using Flickr and Picnik and I may stay with just them.
They also connect me to Facebook.

    Sincerely.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

This is one of the most captivating pictures I've seen in a while. Do you remember what your camera settings were to get the snow flakes to look like that? Beautiful rabbit and setting. Congratulations.
