I didn't realize Hartford had a Brazillian embassy until I walked past it at lunchtime - then I saw these two waiting for a bus - I'm glad I bring my point and shoot on my noontime walks

    Couple things I like...

First, the contrast of the bright lime shirts against the stark winter day of bright sunshine and no leaves in the trees.

Next, is the angle of the shot. I've never been very good at that but after looking at yours a while, I like how you used the shadow on the bottom to be horizontal, thus providing the angle.

I just learned something today - thanks!

Thanks for the comments - The contrasting shirts is definitely what caught my eye - the composition was a little rushed. There is always a lot of people waiting for the bus there and I didn't feel like being asked any questions. If I had more time, she wouldn't have a tree growing out of her head.

I almost didn't save it. Then I tried rotating it so they wouldn't slide off the bench headscratch.gif, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked the angle.
