We had some frost the other morning, but no sunshine. Just when I was ready to head home the sun broke through enough for me to catch some light. Lasted for less then 5 minutes.

    What a great scene, Mary. If what I see is just " frost ", you guys better run before the snow comes!!

    It almost appears as if the Statue is saying " Let There be Light " lol... I love the Pinkish Hue/ Cast which the early Morn provides to Snow or Ice.. It actually gives a hint of warmth to a very Cold scene..you captured that well!! Its a Tricky Shot all the way around here, but you definitely did it justice!

    Hi Tom --

    Frost was only on the trees ... snow is on the ground :D We've had around 21 inches so far ... less then some people .. more then others. It was cold out tho. When I shot this photo the temp was 1° and I was dressed like Ralphies brother in Christmas Story rolleyes1.gif

    It was a hard shot to take for me. Lighting, composition, etc was all working against me, but I kept at it. The fog kept moving around the opening in the sky when the sun was peaking out, but I was determined to get this shot :D
