    gorgeous - looks almost like a painting, especially the backdrop of mountains... love the layers there.

    Hi Dan,

    That's one of the most impressive shots of a desert scene that I can remember seeing.....truly exceptional.

    Dan, this is really a spectacular photo. I love the depth of field--the cactus in the foreground receding in to the distance helps give that feeling. I love the slope of the hill in the foreground on the right, giving way to the distant mountain ranges on the right. And the colors in the sky and reflected on the distant mountain range are so beautiful. There is something to look at in every part of this wonderful photo. Thank you for posting it. Best, Pam
