A mom's love and endurance.
When I saw this scene in front of me I had no choice but to immediately take a stolen shot of it. This nice lady kept her 2 boys in her arms the whole time the school program was on. I admire her for enduring the weight of the two kids and show her love to them in a very special way. A tribute to all moms out there. :thumb C&C would be most welcome.

Thanks reyvee61. I'm glad I was able to relate the idea through this image.

You are right. The identity of the man on the left and the grandma on the right is not relevant to the image I have in my mind so I blurred them out. Tweaked the lighting on pp a bit to emphasize her face as the central focus. Lighting inside the school cafeteria was mixed fluorescent and halogens so I decided to do it in b&w to eliminate color conflict. Added some vignetting but not much.

Well, thank you Chris. My honest guess as to what made it look different to you is the "emotion" factor. I just borrowed an old book about Robert Capa's photographs. I think I got influenced by it to try to show a certain emotion to my shots. If my guess was wrong I still would like to arrive at that point where I can let impart some "feeling" on my images. This is how I think I saw it... This is how it moved me and I tried to show this emotion to the image. Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks a lot for the compliment, Melissa. Your baby shots IMO are really awesome!
