    Are the extra batteries Canon?

no, the extra batteries are another brand, with the circuit simulating the original batteries.
they can be charged with Canon charger and it shows the count too.

I'm taking this camera from the market...
reason 1 - I'm kind too busy with visits from another country. difficult to really be here and answer in timely/correct maner.
reason 2 - looks like the market is depressed by the holiday spirit... my prices are below market and still not committed offers... I'll tray again in January and/or in more places like FredMiranda, Craiglist, etc..

    Happy holidays to all...

I think you need to sell it under refurb pricing to get some bites at it. You were selling it for almost $1400 when you can get a refurb from canon for about $1350. And if you use CLP you can get a refurb for about $1150. I would be interested at $1200 and if you did COD. I have a person willing to do COD and do $1300 for a brand new one that he will ship on wednesday. Let me know if you change your mind about the sale.

CLP? Sorry, what is CLP? If you can get a refurb for $1150 why would you pay $1200 for a used?

Well that's my current offer. For me I would have to purchase a cheap powershot just to get into the CLP. So anything over 1200 isnt worth it for me. I'm buying a LNIB one locally for $1300 tomorrow. So as you can see it all depends on the offer.

OK, so agian I don't understand. Why would you pay $1300 for a LNIB when you can have a Canon refurb with a warrenty for $1150. You have allready agreed to the deal or you don't like refurb? I'm missing something here.

The refurb is what it is. Id rather pay $150 more for a LNIB then a refurb. I understand that if you get a refurb it would be hard to tell the difference but at the end of the day its still a refurb. I dont think you get much of a warrenty with a refurb either.

With all that said I personally feel that I would rather spend the extra $100-$150 to get a LNIB used 7D then a refurb. Hope that explains my madness a little bit. Laughing.gif.

If you buy the refurbished one with amx you can double the warranty. And you get mileage. That is how I got my camera and it is great also they shipped in two days.

I agree... I prefer a well taken care original camera than a don't know what treatment or how many 1000s of pic was used for. The small difference in cost is worth it.

and... small but important and... the day, if and when that day arrives, that you want to sell a refurb... its price is going to be MUCH lower than what you pay for it.

but there is a market for everybody's tastes... find your way... and follow it.
