Hi all,

My name is Glen and I am new to this forum.

I have been into photography for about 3 months and have found it has quickly become a passion for me.

I am still and will probably always be learning but as an introduction I thought I would post some pics from my Smug Mug albums.

Hope you enjoy them and nice to meet you all.

Thanks

Glen

Welcome to the 'Grin, Glen. Thanks for sharing your images . I would enjoy them a great deal more if you didn't have such a large watermark blocking the view. Images this small won't really make a decent print even if someone was to copy t hem. Personally I don't pay much attention to images with the watermark so big and running through the middle.

You have some nice shots here. Would suggest google "rule of thirds" regarding composition. By moving the subject matter off center would improve the comp. on many of these.

    Cheers.

Hi Glen, thanks for posting these! I like the first snake photo because the composition is as Mike describes, (the subject--the snake's head-- is off center) and the snake's head is also nicely lit and very sharp. Best, Pam

In addition to what's already been said, I also wonder whether you considered (or used) a lower viewpoint with some of the shots - although I accept that this isn't always possible / practical :)

    Hey Glen,

I do like that tiger snake. :)clap.gif
As someone has already mentioned, I'd also lose the watermark. I'm another one of those people who won't look at images that have large watermarks straight through the centre, unless they are so faint that they don't interfere with the image.

    Welcome
The water mark is fine with me, and I sure understand, it does not block anything
I really hate (frightened by them) snakes. The first snake image comp is really good though.
    Best Regards
