Color management - BayPhoto and Lightroom

I have a calibrated monitor, and I use Adobe Lightroom for most of my editing (RAW). I use Lightroom's built in Publishing Services to populate my SmugMug galleries.

Every once in a while I send some test prints to BayPhoto (through Smug) just to make sure that things are printing as I'd like them to print. A recent test print came out much more green than I expected it to. I'm not sure why. It seems that managing color is difficult with Lightroom, and the export settings for the built-in Publishing Service are limited.

I guess I'm looking for some advice from anyone who has a similar set up. Thanks in advance.

don't use lightroom, does it offer soft-proofing? if so, go that route...fyi - you can find the appropriate file(s) here if you search for soft proofing...

Unfortunately, there is no soft-proofing feature in Lightroom.... yet????

Is there another way to utilize the BayPhoto ICC Profile in Lightroom?

There is no way to use that profile in Lightroom. You would need something like Photoshop CSx that supports soft proofing in order to use it.
