I agree about the clouds! They are both great scenes, especially with the swimmers and the ship ....But, I hope you don't mind me commenting and , but imho I think the shots would have been much improved if you had made better use of the foreground to lead you into and give the shots depth, particularly the first one.
Just looking through the forum for an example of what I mean I came across this beautiful shot of Yuri's. See how he's used the fg, it draws you in and combined with the other layers gives the scene great depth.

I don't mind at all. I encourage it and value it! While I may be very critical of my work, sometimes when I like a shot for whatever reason I tend to not see it as well as I should. It's nice to hear what I may be missing in being able to make the shot better next time. Including example is a grear touch.
