:dunno In PS how do you do selective coloring? Ex: http://www.moonriverphotography.com/gallery/630992/1/7594231/Large
(sorry to use you as an Example Andy!! hehehe)
If I want to change everything but one or two items into B&W, how the HECK do I do that? I am NEW NEW NEW to PS. I normally use Corel Picture Publisher and Bryce 4 to do any kind of graphic work. Normally I dont edit my photos other then cropping.
Thanks,
Cynthia

Tim Kirkwood (aka Inspector Gadget) sent me this email on selective color.
Tells you how to make a B&W and Color image out of your total color pic in PS.

Subject: selective color
open image
click layer
go to new adjustment layer
then to hue/saturation
click ok on first box
then on second box drag saturation all the way to left to make black and white
then select the brush tool and set color to black
"color" in what you want the color back into
then click layers then flatten image
and save
hope that helps

Try going to the Hall of wisdom forum and do a search in that thread for the word "tutorial". You might also want to try the Photoshop Shenanigans forum.
