Nice tree shots guys, lots of warmth there. I want to find a way to shoot reflective balls and not be in the photo because every time I take one I say "that would be great if I just wasn't in it". I'm thinking of making a blind. CFan, it appears that you have both guitar and camera ornaments on the tree. You're my hero.

What good eyes you have! Hey maybe you could build a blind that looks like the other side of your room......! :-)

I actually tried this exact thing today but with the ball in the floor and my camera tucked underneath the couch at full zoom on the ball using a release!
Ill get it off the camera and upload!
