Event Trailers

I was wondering if any one here runs an event trailer of has any links to pictures of any?

I have been puting out some feelers for a new hairbrained scheme I have and got a really unexpected reaction from an association I called this morning.

Although I was just looking for some preliminary feedback on a slightly different idea, they are talking about me traveling the state covereing all their events on a pre- paid basis.

I haven't liked the trailer I have for a while now and was going to get rid of it anyway to get something different but I'd like to see what ideas I can get from others who run them.

Trailers of the type and size I would want are so expensive here that I'm thinking I'll probably just buy the basic flat frame and build the rest myself.
That way I can save a lot, make the thing exactly how I want and have a heap of fun fabricating and welding it all up myself.

There are a few dsesigns I have in mind but i'd like to see some pics to get any ideas from what other people are running and any feedbak and suggestions would be great too.

I am little envious of this one. Looks pretty expensive though.

I have thought about finding an old travel trailer and stripping the inside out and makeing something that will work but I have enough struggles here lately. I dont need the hassle and dont have the cash to pay for it.

On a side note, I did have a nice unexpected phone call today with a mom that wanted 17 pics for her daughters christmas present from basically a bunch of events I did this summer. Its a pretty good feeling for a teenager to want something I make for christmas. :ivar

    WOW!

    Now that's a trailer!

The graphics on that thing would be worth more than my trailer and I mean that literally!
I have priced having mine done and like everything else here, it's damn expensive.

    Thanks for the link!

Wow, that's quite the unit! Well beyond most of our budgets, that's for sure. You're right about the graphics, Glort. Costly.

I've been thinking along similar lines but combining a living area with the viewing space so that I could eliminate hotel and restaurant bills as much as possible. Plus, we could use the unit for holidays etc. - but I think it's cost prohibitive. I'd have to sell one mountain of photos to pay for it.

I think these guys win from what I have seen so far

I was looking at evilbabe this afternoon and I'm thinking that with the price of trailers, I might be just as well off buying a van.
If my corporate idea takes off, it would be better for the through the week jobs. I could then just take a small trailer behind the van for the country jobs when they come up.

That's quite a set up. Wonder where they get sufficient power for all that gear? And the staff? Big overhead there.

We were talking about a camper-van type of set up as a possible option. But - I can't begin to justify that.
