A study on color and lines. :)

I ran out of interesting stuff to shoot at the backyard so I decided to take a walk at the neighborhood and saw this cactus on a corner. I asked permission to take some shots and the owner said "Go ahead, it's fine." I decided to use the image for some colors and lines study. Post-processed the stone on the leaf and added some drama on the image by changing it's color to yellow (opposite of blue) and changed the color of the leaves to blue. C&C would be most welcome. Thanks.

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

My front yard has tons of Agave so now you have me thinking I should try something like this.
Thanks for sharing this one.

Really? Wow, I'm learning a lot of new stuff from you. You gave me another project to work on. Now I need to know where to find a yellow colored shot glass.

I bet you can find one in Photoshop like you did with your rock.
