This one is the daughter of the brides wedding (very close friend of mine) I was shooting. Its her waiting at the bar for a soda! I noticed the kick-arse reflection so I went for it.

This one is my nephew! I was at my brothers house back in the fall helping him put a new a/c compressor in his car. My newphew Andrew, being the great helper he is, loves to get his hands dirty with us! He had picked up the belt and was playing with it, I noticed the dirt on his hands and had to run to the car to get my camera! I love this picture!

This one I took at the beach with a friend of mine and her daughter Carly! Super cute child!

Let me know what you all think!!! C&C more than welcome!

I love the first one to bits!iloveyou.gif

The other two are just a processing value too far for my likes. For me, they have just let go of the reality they began with. In the case of these kids it's an obstacle to relating to their actuality, it's crossing the border into Avatarland. I think a strong narrative is needed for that to work, there is no narrative in the third image, and the narrative in the second doesn't seem to connect with the look.

My favorite (they're all good) is the third. In that one, I'd back off the skin processing a little, but I think you got the eyes spot-on. They look awake without looking fake. It's a sweet shot and that's why it's my pick.

I think the first is absolutely wonderful too. Sure, I agree it's overdone, but it's a little girl in a wedding (fairy tale) setting. The whole atmosphere is unreal, so why not stylize the photo too?
