One Pretty Tri-Colored Heron - S.E Florida

This one during a private class at Green Cay during the long weekend. We were happy to photograph this Tri-colored Heron for few seconds before someone else scared him/her away... :/

Looks like they are getting the nice colors already!!

Canon 7D, 500mm L @ f/5.6, 1/200 sec, ISO 400, 580EX II with Better Beamer, Manual exposure, Feisol carbon tripod.

    Nice TriC portrait, Maxis. Like the BG in this image. Looks like you had a bit of light. It's been rotten here for shooting. Tons of clouds and some rain. Pfffff Winter sucks.

    That is a great portrait of a beautiful bird. I like the soft background colors that compliment the colors on the bird's face and neck. Also, the way it is cropped. Wonderful shot! Best, Pam
