Here are 3 from today. Took my son up to stretch his legs a little bit, and toss rocks in.

All nice shots. I think #2 is my favorite. Best, Pam

Number 2 is definitely my favourite. I think I said in another post that I am a sucker for those wispy water pictures. The water in number two makes it look like it goes on forever in each direction. Great set of photos.

I like #2 best -- but I wish that stump (or is that a piece of a log?) was not there!

Thanks everyone! Ya, that log in the bottom corner is a bit distracting. I didnt really notice it until after I got home and started lookin over the pictures. That one was the trickiest to get to, with all the wet moss on the rocks. So I didnt spend too much time hangin out in that spot lol.

Solid compositions, but the water is almost completely blown out in #1 and #3. #3 would be great otherwise. You need to watch your "blinkies" or histogram. The exposure in #2 looks good, but I agree the stump is a distraction.

Thanks for the critique everyone. Like the stump, I didnt notice how bad the water was blown out until after I got home lol.

Next time around, I wont be makin the same mistakes.

We played a bit, but it was about 30 degrees out while we were there, so we didnt hang around too long lol.

Have you tried removing the stump, perhaps with content-aware fill in CS5? Just a thought...

I havent tried yet. Im going to get rid of it and see if I can bring back some detail in the other two. This was pretty much just a contrast and saturation adjustment of the images off the camera. Workin over time everyday, plus holiday season equals not much time for shooting or editing lol.

Ok, heres a new twist on #1. I shoot in RAW and JPEG all the time, so I was able to use the RAW image and get a little of the detail back. Besides that, theres a little less contrast and more cropping. Please, tell me what you think.

I think I like the first one better, because it has a "dream like" appearance, if that makes sence lol. But I do see why its not a "good" photo.
