Black leather and bikes are hard to shoot in bright light. I think you did pretty well. I think the last one is my favorite of the set, relaxing on a bike. It even has the logo of our sister forum. I like the two guys with the cigars in the first one, but the background is a little too busy.

    Thanks for the replies.

Yes, black leather, dark shadows of motorcycles against a white building on a bright day about noon didn't bode well for these. Yet another little facet of film I've now relearned.

And ADVRider rocks! There are some seriously good photographs taken by that crowd.

For those that are wondering, ADVRider is a motorcycle adventure touring site also run by Baldy. Everything from maintenance to Ride Reports is in there. Included are some very talented photographers. I'd encourage you to take a gander at the Best of 2010 nominations thread. Some bad, some good, many AMAZIING photographs. Or, stick your head in some of the higher post count Ride Reports to see photography from the road literally from every corner of the world on two wheels. It's an interesting slice/perspective of life.

And please, don't be offended if you see lot's of middle-finger salutes. It's sort of the secret official handshake of the board - Sort of like a friendly 'hello'. thumb.gif

To give you an example, I was riding between Houston and Austin and a guy rides up behind me and flips me off in a big way. I could see a grin under his helmet. As he passed, I noted the ADV sticker on his bike. I too have one on the back, he saw it and 'waved' in fine form. Accordingly, I 'waved' back and chuckled has he sped away.
