I was able to shoot sunset on Saturday and sunrise on Sunday, in two different locations! Yay for me! The sunset shoot was my best seascape sunset/sunrise to date, IMO. Constructive crit welcomed.

    Dude. bowdown.gifbowdown.gifbowdown.gif

Seriously awesome set, Bryan. If these were shot on the east coast, they're probably the best eastern seascapes I've ever seen. nod.gif

Really nice series. I love #4, like how you included a lot of sand at a very low perspective with a verticle camera position. great leading lines in the sand which is mimicked in the clouds. But I really think #10 is your best composition, I love how the light is being reflected off the face of the rocks...if only you had another shot about 2 stops underexposed.....damn.

AMAZING. i think i like 4 and 5 the best... probably 4 if you would have done it in landscape and perhaps centered the subject a little less?

YIKES these are good. If I had to pick, I would say #2 is my favorite. That rock is the perfect anchor. Nicely done.

These are very beautifull seascape photos. I like #6 very much. Did you use Grad ND filters for above photo?

    Wow, thanks everyone.

kdog-Yes, these are all east coast. The sunset was taken on Gooseberry Island in Westport, MA and the sunrise was Sachuest Wildlife Preserve in Middletown, RI.
xyz-I used grads on all of these, either a hard 3 stop or a hard 3 and 2 stop stacked.

Exceptional set, Bryan! I think this is your best work you have posted here. My favorites are #2 and #4. I agree about the anchoring rock in #2--very nice. I also like the scattered rocks and wave action in #8.

Thanks! I used either a single HiTech 3 stop hard edge or a 2 and 3 stop HiTech hard edge for all of these shots.

Great body of work and those 'blown' highlights aren't bad at all.
