Hey guys (and gals)

I have searched, I have read, and yet I am still not sure...

I have a 7D and I am considering buying PSE9. Is the RAW format of the 7D supported or will I have to do a lot of extra tweaking to be able to use the CR2 files that the 7D pumps out?

I have been using DPP up until now, however there is a pretty good sale going on with PSE and I am thinking about getting it.

Thanks,
Andrew

Not that it directly answers your question but you can download a free fully functional trial of pse9 from adobe.com :)
That way you can make sure it does what you need before you buy! Where is the deal?

on the adobe site PSE is currently $40 off....

I hope this is not a no-no, mods make it go away if it is...

I do think I will take them up on the trial version though.

Just be sure to check for updates after you install - press release for the lastest versions mention support for cameras much newer than the 7D, so you should be fine as long as you update to the most current version.

    Figures :)

I just paid $79.99 on Amazon but I don't have to send in for the rebate...

    Cheers, Don
