I was hiking in late fall and came across this rather hidden pond.
The fall colors were well mutted by this late in the season and the entire area had an errie feel, a sense of calm and extreme quiet.
The shot was originally taken with my Nikon D70 modified for infrared photography.
After looking at the shot in PP, rendering the final version in black & white, felt "right" given the conditions and location of the shot originally.
