my videos don't load on Win7 - any ideas?

Hi all,

I cannot see any of my videos on my smugmug page. They do not even start to load, as my bandwidth monitor just drops to 0 when ever a video page pops up.

This is my home:

Almost every gallery has videos.

I have Win7 Ultimate. Browser does not matter, neither Firefox nor IE do anything.

On my Win Vista Home laptop I can see them fine, both on the same connection.

I'm sure it worked on the Win7 machine, too.

When I "save" the video it downloads fine and then plays fine on Windows Media Player.

Any tips?

Go to this site in both IE and Win7 and get flash again http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I thought this, too, but I upgraded only a couple of weeks ago.

Didi it again but the same issue remains.

Also I have subscriptions for live NFL/NBA/NHL which all use flash streaming for their broadcasts and they work fine...

Any other ideas?

Actually my NHL and NBA streams started to do strange things! Sometimes the video would go or the player controls wouldn't work.

After a lot of back and forth I found the solution:

You can edit your flash player settings:

I seems like my privacy setting were set to not allow websites to store data on my PC.

I allowed this and now it works.

Maybe this helps the next person with the same problem.
