bowdown.gif I saw your landscape shots in Landscapes but I'm glad I looked here for the other shots. What a gorgeous set and you have such a wonderful eye. Hawaii is now bumped up a spot or three on my To Do list.

Thank you! I was standing knee deep in water and using a huge rock as a natural tripod :) Not the smartest thing to do since that was my only camera. It was too long of a hike not to take a chance though.

Wow! Stunning shots here, I've never been to Hawaii yet but it's definitely on my life lists of places to check off in the next few years... love your shots, you captured everything so perfectly, looks like these could be in a magazine or something!

Beautiful images. My children just moved to Oahu, Hawai'i, from Palmer, Alaska last week. My daughter, the oldest at 19, has aspirations of becoming a professional photographer and will be studying this summer at Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana. I'd love to go in March and go hiking into nature with her on a three day photo walk.

I missed an opportunity while in the USAF to go, but I've never been. I was kind of hoping to go in March, but my daughter advised against it since the Ex and I don't get along.

Glad you enjoyed Hawaii :-) I live on Oahu (definitly more crowded and busy then the other islands), and havn't had a chance to visit Kauai yet. Thanks for sharing the great pictures! If you ever are headed to Oahu drop me a line and i can give you some recomendations on places to stay and places to visit.

You should still go, just don't hang out with the ex ;) It really is the most beautiful place in the world. You won't regret it.

It'll have to wait for some other time in the future. I'm using the only vacation I have for a year to cover an event at the USAF Museum in Dayton, OH, in August. And my daughter is studying photography at RMSP in Mizzoula, MT, until the end of October wings.gif.
