Promotional Items

I am wondering if anyone here has found a company to work with for promotional items?

I dont want mass produced items - just some business cards, and a couple of water bottles and a coffee mug with my logo on it. More than anything, I'd like to have these things as conversation starters.

I've looked at a few sites from google results - but every one that I've seen so far wants minimum orders of at least 50-100 of each item, which is really not what I or my wallet are after.

If anyone has some info that would help, I would appreciate it.

-Robert

I use VistaPrint as well. Been very happy what I've gotten.

I appreciate both of your advice. Tonight I ordered 250 business cards from them.

The price seemed more reasonable at the beginning @ 23.99, but I used a custom logo, which in the shopping cart added an additional 5.99 to the order, and shipping (I later found out - from Windsor Ontario) was 9.99. Living a little north of Detroit, I could've driven across the bridge to pick them up instead ;-)

I was going to order a mug too - but the end cost for a mug with an uploaded logo was about $30 double sided, or $23 one-sided.

Hopefully the cards and the logo I gave them will print well - I'll be interested to see them!

This is the reverse of the problems some of my customers have when ordering from my SmugMug site and shipping IN to Canada mwink.gif

If your logo image wasn't good enough to reproduce well, you'd have received a message to that effect.

Good luck and let us know how you make out!

    Merry Christmas.

    Smugmug
I've ordered photo mugs right from my website via EzPrints. They look great. You could make your logo a JPG and voila! Order one or one hundred.

Personally, those don't make you any money so they are generally a waste of money but then I don't know what kind of photography you are trying to sell. A picture is worth 1000 words and speaks volumes where a pen or mug don't say much about your photography...
