Not sure where to post this... probably most relevant to the street folks.

A gentleman on the Pentax forums recounted his experiences as a combat photographer during the Vietnam War, including scans of some of his personal photos.

I'm only partway thru the thread, but there is some good stuff in there, may be worth a read if you find that stuff interesting.

Fascinating. Where can we find images?

Also, for anyone looking for incredible Vietnam photography, check out Requiem: By The Photographers Who Died In Vietnam and IndoChina. It's now out of print and quite collectible, so it's quite pricey. But my guess is that allot of libraries have it. It is definitely worth a look. Also check this out . Finally, one of the absolute best photographers of the Vietnam conflict was the French/Vietnamese photographer Henri Huet, who's name is not as well known today as those like Larry Burrows. However, in 2006 a book of his Vietnam war photographs was published in France, with a number of essays - unfortunately in French. I kept waiting for an English edition of the book, but it never materialized, so I finally said 'what the hell,' and went to French Amazon and ordered it. It was worth it - even if I can't read a word of the text. Huet's work was amazing.

There are quite a number attached to his posts - can you not see them? Perhaps this is the old unregistered-guest-can't-see-photos thing? My least favourite thing about forums.

There are a number of people helping him get some images pulled together and posted online, I'll pester them to see if that is complete and post them to this thread.
