From what I remember, the reason I never used these is they always left a film, you had to trim real tight around your graphic and if you didn't you got a clear border to go with your image transfer. Has this changed at all in the last couple of years? It's been a while since I've tried to do this and I'd like to make some shirts up for an upcoming event... so looking for options.

Do you mean something like this?

I was gonna get this product, the reviews say it's the best brand of iron-on transfers. But I still wasn't convinced, thinking that it would shrivel off after a few washes. Has anyone tried these? I heard you have to get the iron really hot for it to work. Epson gives you detailed instructions, apparently.

The thing is, the background of these sheets is white. So it will only look right if you put it on a white shirt. If you put it on red or something then you can clearly see the transfer.

Yeah, I mean, I have some but last time I used it, it left nasty edges.

And I don't think the Epson stuff is for white only... Never seen any Tshirt transfers with white.. Think about it.. Ink goes down first, it would all be covered by white if they had a white filler on it...

No, the background/unused/clear part is white. You peel off the backing, but the backing is different from the background.

    I think. headscratch.gif

If you are doing them on light colored shirts with 100% or 50/50 cotton working the best. I have a Brother GT541 Direct to Garment Ink jet printer which does 300DPI full color jpegs or graphics that are totally permanent and breathable. So permanent you can print on a black shirt and spray it with bleach solution and remove the black dye leaving the inkjet print.
Let me know if I can help.

Wow that is impressive! How much does that go for?

A paltry 20 grand US$ complete, or close there to. Pocket change — for Bill Gates.

Or an investment with good return if you are in a location/business where it can earn its keep.
