Just outside my kitchen window last evening.
By the time I got outside there was time only for one hurried shot, our visitor wasn't keen on hanging about & was making for the palm foliage.
Had to do a bit of PP to make the shot presentable .... Crop, sharpen & some fill flash.

I have been told that it is a green tree snake.
Not venomous, not dangerous ....... I'll take their word for it. thumb.gif

We had a similar experience, and pictured below is the most tenacious snake ever. We first noticed him in our flower pot on our deck. My husband got a rake and gently eased him down a 17 foot post back to the ground. An hour later, we looked out, and he had climbed back up, and stretched out lengthwise on a wooden bench in the sun. This time his trip back to the ground was somewhat quicker. The next day, returning from lunch, we found him stretched across our driveway, and in no hurry to move. Edmund had to get a large branch and basically shove him out of the way. We have very few snakes--this is the only one we saw all summer, so I feel fairly sure it was the same snake all 3 times! Best, Pam
