Ice!

A very ordinary photo, just wanted to share that I got my first ice today, it was awesome! On belay here, getting a thumbs-up from my climbing partner.

Let's call this a placeholder for some better photos later in the season. I'm hooked and the ice is only just coming in.

    it took me a minute to fnd your partner. a move to the right....if that was possible, would have given the viewer a clear view of them. as is, i might darken the corners to put a spot light on him to make him easier to find. i thought this was a landscape image when i first opened it!!! a crop off the top and right might help out too.

    It's a terrible photo, I'm well aware. When you're on belay, you snap quick and hope for the best. Especially on ice - giving a thumbs up one second, the next the eyebrow he was standing on could have given way and it's both hands on the brakes.

    There's a certain dgrinner who's been wanting to come shoot us while we climb, I was more posting up to see if he notices that the ice is in and we're getting out!
