[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Howdy All,

Was in Galveston, Texas home of the Tall Ship Elissa when we noticed the
Mates putting up the Christmas Tree in the Crows Nest, and stowing the Sails.

    How cool is that! What made them put the tree up there? I like all the lines from the ropes too. I'm so close but I never think of going to Galveston. I bet there are lots of photo ops. Thanks for sharing.

    I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Maybe you'll get a cold snap "up north" in Burleson!

    Howdy Lauren,

    Thanks very much, you really do need to go down
    Galveston. We really love the Historic district, and the Waterfront.

    They also have a wonderful Pageant at Christmas Time
    called the Dicken's Festival, talk about a Photo Op :D:D:D

    Thanks for the info, Craig. There is a Dickens night up here too, in Boerne. Looks like yours had a bigger crowd. I'll let you know if/when I go to Galveston.

    I really like all the lines in the ship photo. The guys up there add the special touch to it. Never see me up there tho ... Yikes!!

    Looks like the people were really enjoying themselves at the Dickens

    Howdy Mary,

    I'm with you, it was a neat to see, but I don't think they'll have
    to worry about me being up there with them :D:D:D

    I'd always heard about the Dicken's Festival and it was really a
    neat thing to see, but there were almost too many folks for me!!
    Take care,
