No great photographic work here. Just a quick snapshot to show you who really rules the roost around my house.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Cats were once worshiped as gods in Egypt and have never gotten over it. It looks like mine would feel right at home at your place. rolleyes1.gif.

    I know I probably have erred badly, but the " bag of coal " treatment just doesn't seem right. :D After all, I did rescue Darlene from this .....let's say " exuberant show of dominance ".

    I wouldn't have taken this shot if the cat hadn't made this brazen power play right before my eyes. I figured if I exposed his game it might help my position. Silly me.

    Hey Lauren,

    On his paperwork, this cat is officially named Bucky Buckaroo. He is the one though, of all our cats, that has more or less staked out the kitchen as his private domain. We often find ourselves referring to him as just " the kitchen cat ". In this case, Darlene must have gotten a little too uppity for him and he had to straighten her out.
