..........for the cheap wireless remote that made my wedding photos possible:D
My bride and myself decided to get married a couple weekends back, just us 2 and the minister. We had decided a while back to not hire a photographer and do our wedding on a budget (extreme budget!). So I invested a little under $20 for a wireless remote trigger and loaded up the camera gear and went to our special place to get married. We decided on an old Indian Ceremonial Ground which is now a state park that we visit often by our house, Old Stone Fort. The most fun was us shooting each other. :lust I would load the settings and she would shoot me, I would shoot her, and we shot ourselves with the remote. Here are a few to show what you can do on an extreme budget :thumb
notice the cliff next to us?
and couple of her and myself shooting each other (can you guess which one is the film? Shot on an old canon ae-1 with 20+ year old battery and wolf pro 135mm f2.8, fuji 400h pro)

Congrats! Not bad for self portraits. Black levels and exposures are a little varied so you may want to take another look at a few of them, but otherwise nice stuff. Old Stone Fort Ehh? I'm actually going to be camping there tomorrow night on my way down to FL. Not really camping... more pulling the eurovan up to an electrical outlet, putting up the curtains and plugging in the heater. Thought it might be a great place to return for some backpacking in the spring so my daughter and I are just doing a quick dinner and nights sleep there so we can look around a little bit on our way to warmer weather.
hope all is well! Happy Holidays!

I'm about 1/2 mile as the crow flies from Old Stone Fort. Want a cup of coffee tomorrow afternoon/evening, you can stop by. Safe travels, it's nasty out.
