SOLD: The Venerable Canon 100-400L (US)

I had a chance to pick up a 100-400L to compare to my Sigma 50-500 OS. I have always entertained ideas of going back to a smaller lighter lens, and decided to make a decision one way or another this past week. I did the comparisons, and even though the Canon has better contrast and color, I just really like the flexibility of 50-500 (even though the Sigma really doesn't seem to get to 500mm, around 480mm or so). I really do appreciate the push/pull zoom of the L, so I will miss that feature as well. 
So this means I am selling the UT-coded 100-400L instead of the 50-500 OS, one was going to go on the auction block, and it will be the L, much to the dismay of my bag and my arm.
It comes with everything from the factory (box, hood, carry case, strap, manual, warranty card, tripod ring). There are marks on the hood and on the front lens cap, however the glass is immaculate, and with the exception of one very tiny mark on the body of the lens near the 100-400mm logo, the body is like-new shape.
Everything works great, it is a great lens to add to your collection!
I am asking $1185 shipped and paypaled in the US, preferably echeck.
